Disable or Suppress the "You must restart your computer to apply these changes" prompt?
We have a number of Windows 7 Enterprise virtual desktops which gives users the "You must restart your computer to apply these changes" prompt every time they log on. We are not looking to resolve the underlying cause for these prompts, but are trying to find a way to simply stop the prompt from appearing. Is there a way to disable this prompt so that the users never see it?

Reboots are event driven like application installs, patching etc.. There is no way that I know to suppress reboots in general. In case like this most likely application was assigned via GPO with option to reboot if required. You would need to open the msipackage and suppress reboot in the package and then you could deploy it without reboot. Or if you install from command line or script use something like this msiexec /i MSAddInsSetup.msi REBOOT=ReallySuppress /qn
